Washington DC TIPS Certification - TIPS Training
Responsive alcohol training is mandated by the District of Columbia. The District of Columbia's liquor code requires all managers of a licensed establishment to be certified in an alcohol training and education program that is conducted by a Board-approved provider.
All liquor license holders and their managers must complete an approved alcohol training and education program and submit proof of completion of the course with the Manager's License application to the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA).
In addition, the eTIPS course is tailored to deliver information on regulations unique to the District of Columbia. eTIPS participants are able to assess the needs of their clients from both the legal and alcohol-related perspectives.
TIPS is approved in Washington DC. District of Columbia.
